Double penetration weekend!
This coming weekend (which is tomorrow actually. Late post is late.), we will witness an epic clash of events. For some reason, mega animanga show Mascot Parade will happen on Saturday over at *Scape Park, Orchard, while old cosplayers’-favorite event, Cosfest IX will be happening over the weekend at Downtown East. Which one to go to? The animanga community questions itself. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
CDS0018: Project Sabersssss! Because you all asked for it!
Luckily, CDS will be spared the painful choice as we will go to both events. We’ve got the old favorites on sale along with new fun stuffs for fans of Saber, Angel Beats and Duradura! So be sure to look out for us whichever events you choose to go to!

Cosfest IX info:

Note: this time round, there are no preorders. Prices will be displayed at the events themselves, and are the same for both events, so dont worry about getting ripped off! we wont do that…really ._.

Lessons from CXC
Comics Xchange took place last weekend and as I publicized in my last post, CDS took up a booth there. So did Daiyaku, Comics Pandora, Ice Berry and Sakiru. Us, the merry bunch of doujin circles (or in Ice-Berry’s case, doujinka) formed Team Anime/Manga within the bazaar hall. It should have been fun. It should have been wonderful. I wish I can say that truthfully but that’s not the case. There are some nice moments but that is not the case.
According to Daiyaku’s tweet, I am supposed to rant. Maybe. But let’s try to be positive here. This Comics Xchange, we took back with us a couple of important lessons and experience.

It WAS a poster for sale. However, it was sold out before noon on Day 2 of Cosfest. If you want another copy, you can always try your luck during the upcoming ACME II event. We MIGHT print more copies of it if we think there is enough demand for it.
