Take your pick. Any pick.
The Making of Project Pimp Butler
EOY was over. It’s kinda fun but nothing particularly exciting. Save for one special project that was fun to make, fun to market and fun to sell.
So here was how the origins of Pimp Butler came about. Sometime ago, WaHa (and his kanojo) and I (the lightbulb) were discussing about a potential project for the future at Nex. “Old Maid,” I said, “Plus the theme of EOY is maids. They go pretty well together.”
“That’s a good idea,” WaHa replied, “We should give it a shot. When’s EOY by the way?”
“17th Dec,” I answered as I check my calendar, “One month from now…”
OH SHI-
Will you be the pimp himself? Or will you end up with him instead?
Pimp Butler
Yea. That’s what the title says.
But never mind that. Who cares about the butler? Who we care about are his harem. His harem of meidos who we should have instead of him. How did that Blur King manage to amass such a harem for himself anyway? His harem is ours for the taking!
And this EOY, your chance have come.
AFA is always busy but fun.
AFA 11: AFAtermath
Last year, I had my complaints about AFA. This year, none of those. Oh no, it was a totally awesome event. We had awesome moments plenty and we had fun. What happened to the ultra critical Komicer who is always so disapproving of large capitalist corporations exploiting our hobby?
Well, the organization for the hall really really improved this year. There were booths. A variety of proper, interesting booths. The decision to set up booth at AFA 11 by the various local doujin groups also contributed to the favorable, inclusive impression of AFA 11. And not to mention the fact that CDS genuinely had a really good time at AFA. And that, I hope, our fans and all the rest also had a smashing time at AFA.
Unlike STGCC when we can afford to act like happy kids running around to meet idols, we are, somewhat unfortunately, confined to our booth this AFA. So rather than a blow by blow account of how things went like how I did the STGCC post, let’s zoom in straight into the highlights of AFA 11 to us. For this AFA 11 marks a couple of interesting experiments and first for us. And the results of these experiments were really phenomenal. So much so that, I just really want to brag about it.
