Heres a spanking awesome artwork by talented artist Pinkjellyo for the upcoming holiday season! Possessing a keen art style that can only be described as intricate gothic, this artist makes no mistakes while inking and is a mean hand at traditional painting. She first appeared (to my knowledge) in MUGEN, helming the macabre and somewhat gory (mmm guro) comic Lament, and more recently appeared in the awesome liquid city anthology as one of the comic artists.

So! with EOY over and out of the picture (if you are wondering about coverage, im still deciding because i lost the picture of the wonderfully sweet waki miko Reimu and its just not the same without her), we are gearing up for the last big bang event of the year, Comicfiesta! only that its in Malaysia, of course.

So, who wants to go and watch Studio Ghibli’s latest quirky film, opening on new year’s? From what ive seen in the trailers, its really nostalgic. reminds me of the olden days when Ghibli was still topcraft and they did retro shows like anne of green gables, thundercats (!), and Conan boy of the future.
So if you like it, please do support it and get tickets at GV to watch with your friends! you will never see fish the same way ever again…
On a side note, it seems sky crawlers really does crawl along. Yawn~. its worth catching if you are a mamoru oshii fan (im not), but if you arent, just give it a miss. the plane designs are nice though.

No, Im not talking about the chewing gum ban. In recent news (in late November, to be exact) kindly gathered by animeanime.jp and newly added partner in crime, Anime banzai, AIC has announced that they will be partnering with Singapore’s AXXIS company to produce a Live action version of vintage cyberpunk series, Bubblegum Crisis. My thoughts? Read on!
